Interference or bandwidth sharing issues may arise when both USB extensions needed for touch screen functionality are connected to the two USB ports of the header connector cable on the back PCI slot plate. This may result in intermittent USB Error 2016 messages, often associated with the Device Manager window refreshing more frequently than normal.

Relocating one or both USB extensions to a different port seems to solve the

issue.

Solutions:

1. Relocate USB Extension Cable: Move one of the blue USB extension cables from its current port in the expansion card area to another available USB port on the motherboard.

2. Swap USB Connection Points with Those Used for Mouse and Keyboard: Exchange the positions of the mouse and keyboard with the two blue USB extension cables. Ensure that the mouse and keyboard are plugged directly into the motherboard’s primary USB

ports.
